Description:

• The fault code P0944 indicates that there has been a loss of pressure in the hydraulic pressure unit. This may cause the transmission to shift poorly or not shift at all.

Possible Symptoms:

• Transmission shifts poorly or not at all

• Illuminated check engine light

• Harsh or delayed shifting

• Transmission slips or fails to engage

Possible Causes:

• Malfunctioning hydraulic pressure unit
