Intermittent Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or Check Engine Light illumination
Intermittent issues with transmission shifting, such as delayed or erratic shifting
Fluctuations in transmission behavior, such as sporadic slipping or harsh engagement
Inconsistent engagement or disengagement of certain gears
Occasional reduction in drivability or performance due to intermittent circuit interruptions
Intermittent connection or wiring issues in the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'D' circuit
Loose or corroded connectors in the circuit
Faulty transmission fluid pressure sensor or switch 'D'
Faulty engine control module (ECM) or other control modules
Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor: Gear fluid line delivers gear fluid/oil between the various gear parts that need lubrication. The Gear fluid line pressure Sensor monitors the fluid pressure in the line. Problems lead to difficulty in shifting gears
Inspect and repair any intermittent connection or wiring issues in the circuit
Ensure the connectors in the circuit are securely connected and free from corrosion
Test and replace the faulty transmission fluid pressure sensor or switch 'D', if necessary
Test and replace the faulty engine control module (ECM) or other control modules, if necessary
