Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or Check Engine Light illuminated
Issues with transmission shifting, such as delayed or erratic shifting
Inability to shift gears
Transmission stuck in a particular gear
Limited drivability due to the low voltage condition in the TCM communication circuit
Faulty transmission control module (TCM)
Wiring or connection problems in the TCM communication circuit
Loose or corroded connectors in the TCM system
Faulty engine control module (ECM) or other control modules
Intermittent low voltage condition in the TCM communication circuit
Traction Control Module (TCM): Most modern vehicles are equipped with anti-lock brakes and traction control. Traction Control Module (TCM) is the part of the car computer that controls the electronic stability system (ESC) of the car. Problem leads to inefficient braking, ABS not working
Test and replace the faulty transmission control module (TCM), if necessary
Inspect and repair the TCM communication circuit for any issues, such as damaged wires or connectors
Ensure the connectors in the TCM system are securely connected and free from corrosion
Test and replace the faulty engine control module (ECM) or other control modules, if necessary
Inspect for any intermittent low voltage conditions in the TCM communication circuit and repair as needed
