Description:

  • The fault code P0844 means that there is an intermittent issue in the circuit that controls the transmission fluid pressure sensor or switch A. This may cause problems with shifting or cause the transmission to enter into limp mode.

Possible Symptoms:

  • Transmission may shift poorly or erratically

  • Transmission may enter into limp mode

  • Illuminated check engine light

  • Reduced engine power or acceleration

  • Transmission may slip or fail to engage properly
