Delayed or harsh shifting
Transmission slipping or loss of power
Illuminated check engine light
Overheating transmission
Malfunctioning pressure control solenoid
Damaged wiring or connections in the solenoid circuit
Low transmission fluid levels or dirty fluid
Failed transmission control module (TCM)
Pressure Control Solenoid: This solenoid regulates the oil flow in the transmission. Problems with this solenoid lead to engine misfire, poor fuel economy, poor acceleration
Replace the pressure control solenoid
Inspect and repair any damaged wiring or connections
Check and refill transmission fluid levels or perform a fluid flush
Replace the transmission control module (TCM) if necessary
