Description:

• The fault code P0655 indicates that there is an issue with the circuit that provides reference voltage to a sensor in the vehicle. This can lead to performance issues and may cause the vehicle to fail an emissions test.

Possible Symptoms:

• Illuminated check engine light

• Flashing Engine Overheating indicator

Possible Causes:

• Failed Engine over temp (Overheating) indicator bulb or the assciated circuit.

• Faulty Engine Temperature sensor

• A faulty engine control module (ECM)

• Engine Hot Lamp: Bulb on the Instument Panel to indicate engine overheating. The bulb is no longer working in this car

Possible Solutions:

• Replace the faulty Engine Overheating indicator bulb.

• Replace the Faulty Engine temperature sensor.
