Description:

• The fault code P0248 indicates that there is a problem with the turbocharger wastegate solenoid B range or performance. The wastegate controls the amount of boost produced by the turbocharger. A failure in this system can lead to reduced power and poor engine performance.

Possible Symptoms:

• Lack of power or reduced engine performance

• Slow acceleration

• Poor fuel efficiency

• Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminated

Possible Causes:

• Faulty wastegate solenoid
