Illuminated check engine light
Decreased fuel efficiency
Rough idling or stalling
Engine may fail to start
Malfunctioning fuel temperature sensor
Damaged wiring or connections in the fuel temperature sensor circuit
Loose or corroded electrical connections in the fuel temperature sensor circuit
Failed engine control module (ECM)
Fuel Temperature Sensor: The fuel temperature sensor measures the temperature of the fuel in the fuel injector. Problems with this sensor lead to engine misfire, engine stalling
Replace the fuel temperature sensor
Inspect and repair any damaged wiring or connections in the fuel temperature sensor circuit
Clean or tighten any loose or corroded electrical connections in the fuel temperature sensor circuit
Replace the engine control module (ECM) if necessary
